It worked really well for my cat. You need a subscription for it, which costs almost the same for a year and you can’t get it for a shorter period, but it’s worth it. I always know where my cat is, and if she leaves the set safety zone, I get a notification. When that happens, I go get her and tell her to come home. She understands that she’s gone too far. There’s another clever feature too, the vibration. I taught her that if I send a gentle vibration to the collar, she gets food. So if I want her to come home, I send her a vibration.

My 2-year-old cat has been using it for a month. At first, she hated it, but now she’s gotten used to it—whenever she goes out, she has to wear it. You need to download an app on your phone. You can set up a safety zone, and if she leaves it, my phone vibrates, so I go out and call her back with some food. You need at least a 1-year subscription, which is about another 25,000 forints in euros. Sometimes it’s accurate to 8-10 metres, but other times just 1 metre. She can wander outside until midnight, then I go out and call her in. If she loses it, there’s a signal light and a vibration on it.

My cat goes outside and sometimes stays out for hours, so I do get a bit stressed. It’s true that the tracker really reassures me! Plus, I get a notification when he goes out and comes back in. So personally, I’m very satisfied!

I find the tracker helpful, but the connection sometimes takes a few seconds to update. On the plus side, the location tracking is very accurate.
