I can confirm the previous reviews – it’s definitely worth securing the petting flap during travel. Other than that, the carrier is really nice. At first, it does smell a bit like plastic. However, I’m a bit disappointed that zooplus didn’t secure the carrier in the package. It was just thrown into the box. As a result, the top part popped out of the latch, right where the petting flap is. Luckily, I managed to fix it, but the top part is still slightly bent.

I've been using this for a few years now. The cat is well protected in the basket. The lid can be opened in several ways and locked so it doesn’t open by accident. The basket can be secured with a seatbelt in the car. The handle folds down by pressing where it’s attached on each side. It’s not suitable for carrying over long distances – in that case, I’d recommend buying a transport bag instead. A big advantage is that the whole lid can be removed, so you can lift the cat out of the basket. I put a small sheepskin in the basket.
