PetSafe® foam filter

I've had it for almost a month now. My cats didn't want to drink from the plastic drinking fountains anymore (no matter which one I tried, I think I've had at least 4), and they didn't like regular bowls either, so it ended up being a pan. Then this one went on sale and I thought I'd give it another go, and it's great! Okay, it's smaller than the others, but you can just refill it. Plus, it gets less dirty (greasy) than the plastic fountains. At first, they only drank from the bowl, but now they also drink from the top. On top of that, it makes little to no noise!

I am very satisfied. When the water jet loses pressure, I clean the pump with compressed air, and it still works just as well now as when I bought it about three and a half years ago.

This fountain is the best we've tried. The motor is nice and strong and has great suction. The fountain is easy to clean. And most importantly, the cats love it.

I've been using it for about a year and a half, and my cat started drinking from it on the very first day. I clean it about once a week or every other week. It's really important to also clean the motor inside, otherwise dirt will build up there. You need to remove the blue parts and pull out the rod through the white wings.

I buy the filters regularly so that the kitties always have clean water.

The drinking fountain is easy to clean and the pump is very quiet. Recommended purchase. The coarse white filters that surround the pump have a very unpleasant plastic smell. The white filters are being returned. I only use the charcoal filters with the fountain. Every fountain should be cleaned daily, otherwise it gets slimy and germs can develop!

I've had the ceramic one from the same brand for several years and I'm very happy with it. I bought this one because it's less fragile, as I put it in a high-traffic area. It's perfect.

My cat loves it. She drinks a lot more water since I got it. I change the water in the bowl every day so it’s always cold and fresh in the morning. I wash the fountain by hand every other day and change the filter 1-2 times a month, depending on how the filter feels and looks. That’s more often than what’s recommended, but if you don’t change the water and keep the fountain clean, bacteria will obviously build up. If you keep up with it, you’ll have a happy cat and a happy owner <(^.^)>

I've had this fountain for over half a year now and I'm very satisfied. After a deep clean, I also had the problem that the pump "just wouldn't work anymore" and ordered a new one online. On the same day, I soaked the "non-working" pump in vinegar and warm water for a few hours, flushed it out properly and—voilà—it worked again afterwards. I've kept the spare pump in its original packaging just in case. I wouldn't want to be without the fountain; my tomcats love it. :-)

I’ve been using it for over a year now and with regular maintenance it works perfectly. The cats are happy too. Be careful, if you don’t look after it, it obviously won’t work as well, so make sure to read the instructions carefully. Change both types of filters regularly and, most importantly, make sure to remove any limescale from the pump (take off the impeller covers) using vinegar. If you have hard water, I added ceramic beads like the ones used for drinking water/aquarium filters and it works a treat—no more problems since then.

Really amazingly quiet (even the black and blue pump), and the cats took to it better than I expected. Easy to clean. It was bigger than I thought, but it fits just right now and we've been using it for almost half a year.

From day one, one of our cats just went straight to it and drank, she loves the running water. Our other cat needed a bit of time to check it out. 🐱

Quiet! Very satisfied with this, both in terms of use and appearance. I have a cat who is usually very wary of new things. This was no problem to introduce.
