This is a good product, but it also has several flaws that are not acceptable from companies. Pros: Large tank that only needs refilling once a week for two cats. Good filters that are replaced once a month. Quiet operation. Cons: It comes with an algae growth lamp that can't be turned off. This means algae grows in the fountain. To reduce this, the light MUST point straight out of the fountain. Other people also say this light attracts mosquitoes. Unacceptable! It has sharp corners inside the tank where dirt collects.

We’ve had the drinking fountain for quite a while now (about 3 years) and have generally been satisfied. It’s extremely quiet—you can barely hear it at all. The cats also like drinking from it: one drinks straight from the stream and the other from the “pool”. Unfortunately, the fountain is very difficult to clean and gets extremely chalky. It looks really unhygienic, which is why I’ll be looking for a different drinking fountain now.
