My senior cat doesn't like the pâté. It actually looks perfectly fine, so I think it's just a matter of taste. The texture is smooth but a bit hard to mash.

At first, my tomcat Merlin would literally snatch it out of the can. However, for the past week he’s been consistently refusing it. Even if I mix it with something else, he picks out the good food and leaves this behind. The texture is rubbery, and sometimes there are really hard chunks in it. I’ve also found tubes in it, or hard white deposits. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it anymore, although of course every cat is different.
