I regularly give this to my cat, who quickly gets bored of renal wet food. I alternate the flavours, but this is the one she prefers. Also, the chunks aren’t hard and I can mash them up to make a mousse.

I have almost tried every brand of renal freshness pouches on the market. Moon turns her nose up at all of them, even the most expensive ones, except these!!!! First of all, because they have sauce, little chunks, and it’s not just pâté! However, the recipe isn’t consistent. In the same batch, sometimes there’s a good amount of sauce in a pouch and other times there’s almost none. I find that odd... Also, the pouches are delivered loose.

Since years, my CKD cats have been eating Kattovit Renal. They almost only eat the turkey variety. Every now and then I try to feed them one of the other flavors, but unfortunately without success. In combination with homeopathic remedies and Porus One, their kidney values are very stable. The food is very well tolerated.
