Depending on the fish you keep in your aquarium, you’ll need specialised food tailored to the needs and feeding habits of each species. For bottom-dwelling fish, we recommend Tetra Pleco Spirulina Wafer, which is entirely plant-based and therefore perfectly suited to the diet of herbivorous fish. The 2-in-1 tablets contain algae proteins to meet the specific nutritional needs of algae-grazing fish. Furthermore, Tetra’s food tablets are rich in fibre, which aids digestion.

Thanks to the processed algae concentrate, Tetra Pleco Spirulina Wafers are very nutrient-rich, so you can be sure that even larger bottom-dwelling fish receive enough nutrients to thrive. As the wafers have a firm consistency, feeding does not result in unsightly cloudiness in the water.

Great product - highly recommend

Only bought as I was ordering other items and added to order. Picture on website doesn't represent the full size of this product. The wafers are multi coloured inner and outer circles. Normally other community fish do not touch algae wafers and they often sit on the bottom after feeding time is over. These disappear very quickly with numerous fish taking a nibble. My only concern is that I might use more to give the stick pleco a chance.
