Feeding guide
Feeding recommendation:
PAWS & PATCH Potato Cubes is a supplementary food for dogs and cats.
Soak the potato cubes in hot water for approx. 20 minutes. After soaking, allow the potato cubes to cool and add to the rest of the food. If necessary, the cubes can be mashed for better digestibility. 1 tablespoon corresponds to about 5g potato cubes. 5g dried cubes correspond to about 15g soaked cubes.
Dogs:
The total serving per day depends on the dog's weight and activity levels: 20 - 40 g food per kg body weight per day.
Recommended serving ratios:
Puppies: approx. 80% meat and 20% vegetables (soaked)
Adults: approx. 65% meat and 35% vegetables (soaked)
Seniors: approx. 50% meat and 50% vegetables (soaked)
Cats:
Cats have a limited ability to break down carbohydrates due to a lack of amylase. Highly broken-down starch sources such as cooked potatoes, pasta or rice are best tolerated.
Recommended serving ratios:
Maximum 5g potato cubes per kg body weight per day
