Royal Canin Maxi Starter Mother & Babydog has been specially developed to meet the nutritional needs of pregnant dogs and their puppies. The recipe is ideal for large adult dogs weighing between 26 - 44 kg during the final trimester of their pregnancy, as well as for weaning their puppies to the age of 2 months. As large dogs often have bigger litters, with sometimes more than 10 puppies, their metabolism has more work to do.
The recipe contains a proven complex with vitamins C and E to support optimum development- and healthy function of the immune system. The combination of beneficial prebiotics (such as MOS) and highly-digestible proteins can help to support healthy digestion.

Great food, Lab loves it!
Been feeding my yellow Lab Royal Canin ever since we got him as a pup and there is no way I would ever take him off it. He has a healthy, shiny coat(and does not over moult despite what some say on other sites). people always comment on how healthy and well he looks, vets included. Great price from Zooplus also!

Very good for mums and pups
This is my second time using this with a might German Shepherd, and she loves eating it. The puppies look good, and the mum's poo has a nice consistency. All good!

Best food to bring up puppies!
This is the best food you can bring your dog up with, and it does wonders for the mum too!! The puppies are nice and strong, with healthy bones and lots of energy and concentration!!
Obviously you have to start off with the mousse before switching over to the dry food mixe with a bit of water 4 weeks in. Then from 5 weeks onwards just the dry food, no water. They love it!

Reliable food for pregnant bitches
Once again I am using the Royal Canin Maxi Starter food, it gives me good condition in my girl enabling her to produce and feed healthy puppies. I will wean the puppies on to this starting at 3 weeks of age.

Empty bowl every time
My dogs love their food and although they are large dogs don't produce large poos so this is presumably high quality food without too much filler. I wish I'd placed my latest order while this promotion is on as they'd have enjoyed the hedgehog squeaky balls.

Hi me and my friends have bulldogs because they need little exercise and we have busy lives the only problem is keeping there weight under control that is where your food is fantastic firstly my dogs name is Taz and if it does not get feed enough it turns into the tazmanian devil no other food controls her hunger thank god for royal canin ps the reason for light she would explode.
