The basis of a long and active dog life is a species-appropriate, balanced nutrition during the important phase of growth and development. Smaller breed puppies tend to reach adulthood by 10-12 months, but large breed puppies keep on growing up until they are 15 months old. In order to grow into a healthy adult dog, your puppy needs a specialised food to meet their various nutritional needs. When deciding on a food for your large breed junior dog, you should take the extended growth phase in to consideration, and avoid diets with excessive energy and mineral contents. A healthy diet should contain a balanced mix of vital nutrients, as well as an adapted content of essential carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. Pregnant and lactating dogs have similar nutritional needs as puppies, so also benefit from a diet with increased energy, protein, vitamins and minerals.

Concept for Life Large Junior is a dry dog food formulated to suit the needs of large breed puppies up to 15 months of age. It provides your puppy with a balanced diet for optimal all-round care, as well as meeting specific growth requirements.

Concept for Life Large Junior meets the specific nutritional requirements of puppies and junior dogs, as well as pregnant and lactating dogs. The high protein content is easy for your puppy to digest and is combined with a balanced mix of vital nutrients. The increased vitamin D3 content and the well-balanced ratio of calcium and phosphorus help to promote healthy development of bones and teeth. The special FORMULA X actively supports life-long health and can help to keep your puppy in good shape. Concept for Life combines lots of carefully selected fresh meat with functional ingredients to create a balanced mix of premium nutrients. The resulting kibble is easy to digest and well accepted.

This tasty puppy kibble also contains a vitamin-B-complex which, in combination with copper, organically-bound zinc, as well as high-quality omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, can help to promote glossy fur and supple skin. The balanced, nutrient-rich formula with fresh meat is very well accepted by large breed puppies and the kibble is just the right size for them.

Concept for Life is a unique and scientific-based nutritional concept, which focuses on your dog’s individual well-being and dietary requirements at different life stages. The variety Large Junior provides your large breed growing puppy with a balanced nutrition.

Concept for Life – tailored nutrition for your pet.

Labradoodle Junioe loves this foo!
My 7 month labradoodle had been experiencing an unsettled stomach from supermarket "premium" mix. I read good reviews of this product and I am not disappointed, he is happier and his stools are better. Plus it is cheaper per Kg than what I previously had him on.

good food
I feed this alongside wet food and my dog can eat as much as he pleases. He likes it a lot and does his own portions throughout the day

superb
This food is amazing we changed from profine because it wasn't going down well with one of my Australian Shepherds giving her lots of gas, making her poo a lot and she just didn't enjoy eating it. We had to change and we chose this brand because the nutritional values are as good as any other brand but without potato instead of rice which we regret choosing. No more intestinal issues with this.

Black stools
I have a fussy 9 month golden retriever. Since I bought this food he hasnt been eating his full meals. There Is always food left in his bowl. His stools turned black and solid I taught it was because he was new to the food but after 1 month there still the same so I have changed his food. The price of the food was the only positive

This is a great kibble, lots of nutrients and a great price. My woody is fairly fussy but has eaten all of this food about 90% of the time, I would recommend it.

My 11 year old Greyhound could not wait to get at his new food. He absolutely loved it, woofed it back in seconds.Bit too early to say if it helps his joints yet.

Too rich
Started my labrador on this last week with high hopes but, unfortunately, her flatulence came back and I have had to go back to her other food. It looks as though her digestion couldn't cope with it so, sorry, won't be buying again.

Great food
I mixed this with my dogs original food so I could introduce it slowly. Both dogs picked out the large chunks from their bowls and eat those first. Both of them loved it.

No good for health
My rottweiler puppy started to eat this dry food since two weeks, and few days ago I noticed that in the urine there was something like "white pus". In fact, speaking with my veterinary they told me that 30% of protein is too much for puppies :(
