Carat my St Bernard

I've been giving Royal Canin Giant Puppy since she was 2 months old up to 8 months, then switched her to Junior. Really good food for this type of large breed. I recommend it.

Such a pity with the increased pricing

I have solely using RC since we first got molly our St. Bernard however now we’re moving to Concept of life. RC was great and really suited molly however when we first purchased RC it was €65, quite affordable but now that it is the bones of €90 it’s not feasible, especially when she goes through a 15kg in less than a month. Zooplus are fantastic and far cheaper than the Irish stores but RC have shot themselves in the foot and will be losing many customers.

We have to cheat....

While our Old English Mastiff lady is very picky when it comes to food, our Mastiff gentleman absolutely loves Royal Canin Giant. For him, we've now switched to Giant Adult, and for her, we sneak in a bit of wet food for the kitty. The tolerance is excellent, the poos are huge – but our Mastiffs currently weigh (Junior) 60 kg and (Adult) 95 kg – so I guess that's just how it is. The vet is happy, so we're sticking with it.

Royal canon for our staffy.

Our staffy is a rescue dog ,we had her when she was nearly 1. I won't go into details of how badly she was treated, anyway we tried various foods for her, a few weeks later my sister in law said try royal canin, so I purchased a 15kg bag to try ,nearly 5 years later she's still on it she's as fit as a butcher's dog. Her nose is cold & wet her coat shines, and we've never had any problems with her diet yet and Poppy has energy to spare brilliant.

A must for Great Danes

My 2 Great Danes love this stuff, both reared from birth on it and now stand proudly at 190 Lean pounds and nearly a metre to the shoulder each...Tom & Jerry would not eat anything else, nor would I let them whilst ever they still produce this I will buy it !

Perfect balance for our Labrador

We have tried other brands with smaller kibble but they didn't seem to be filling for him. With this Royal Canin he actually chews each one. His coat is shiney and he is full of energy. Wouldn't buy any thing else. Zoo plus offers fantastic value especially with the 3kg free offers 😊

Read the last review . Wasn't put off as mine love this . I have 3 vizslas . Tried them on hills and it went straight through them. This is great value with 3 kg extra. . Zooplus bring a great site and so much cheaper.

Great food

My gsd loves this food although some days likes a bit of variety so we have to add a bit of meat in to keep her interest but if you are getting this food it is best price by far I have seen and especially when the 3kg free deal is on it's even better.

Perfect for Our 2 Great Danes

Having raised Great Danes for more than 25 years and always understood (mostly by being told by others, forums etc.) that they must be fed with a food lower than about 26% protein, we were struggling to find a good quality food for our latest young Danes (Thor and Loki) that met that criteria. The breeder that we got our latest 2 babies from said that they had used Royal Canin Puppy and Junior and had had good results and no problems with bone growth. There were lots of folk on Great Dane site

Excellent all rounder

My Labrador Rosie is now 2 years old, she has been fed Royal Canin puppy and then adult dog food since she was weaned, she has a glossy coat, boundless energy and is in excellent health. I would not consider changing her food under any circumstances.

What a difference!

Having tried a number of cheaper dog foods this was recommended for my two ridgebacks and I've not looked back since. Their coats are glossy, they're bright and alert are just thriving on it. More noticeably though is that their stools are not only firmer but considerably smaller which shows just how much is being absorbed. Yes it's more expensive but this site is the cheapest I've found it and will be returning time and time again I'm sure.
