It can also contribute to a urinary environment that is unfavourable for the formation of struvite stones due to its urinary acidifying properties. The sodium and potassium content is increased, which can promote a higher urine volume and dilution of the urine. The dry diet food has a great flavour and is therefore popular with many pets.
