Young cats that are still developing need a lot of vital nutrients. Smilla Kitten Paste is specially designed for the needs of small kittens, containing essential vitamins, calcium and taurine, which strengthen the bones, encourage the development of the immune defence system and support healthy heart function.

Vitamins fulfill essential functions in your cat's body - they interact with the metabolism, support certain bodily functions and assume a protective role. Smilla Kitten Paste contains, among other things, vitamin A, which plays a key role in eye function. Vitamin E has antioxidant properties to protect cells against free radicals, which can be caused by stress or negative environmental influences. B-vitamins support the metabolism during daily activities. Biotin plays an important role in terms of hair and skin metabolism and can encourage the development of a beautiful, shiny coat.

Feeding guide

Feeding recommendation:
Smilla Kitten Paste is a complementary food for young cats.

Once your cat is six weeks old and regularly eating solid food, feed a 6cm strip (1cm = approx. 0.5g) either directly from the tube in the palm of your hand or mix with food. The vitamin D content is higher than in complete cat food, so ensure that the paste does not represent more than 10% of your cat's daily food intake. Feed at room temperature.

Very good!
My kitten loves this paste and it seems to give her a lot of energy. She sees it as a treat every time I bring it out.

Kittens love it
I have two kittens and they both love this stuff. We used it to help us train them to accept being picked up. Whenever it come out of the cupboard they come trotting over and wait in turn to be scooped up and fed.
