The secret is the film tube:Every Litter Locker II comes with a cartridge containing a special, multi-layered film tube. The airtight film helps lock in unpleasant smells and bacteria.

The LitterLocker II Refill Cartridge fits the innovative LitterLocker II disposal bin for used cat litter, with a unique seal system to guarantee total freedom from unpleasant odours. It is hygienic, easy to use, and eliminates those daily trips to the rubbish bin. Assuming you clean out your cat's litter tray once daily, the LitterLocker can hold up to 2 months' worth of used cat litter, then simply removed from the bin.
Spares you the daily walk to the bin:
Assuming you clean out your litter tray once daily, the LitterLocker Cat Litter Disposal System can hold up to 2 weeks' worth of soiled cat litter. Once the bag is full, it can be easily disposed of and then replaced with a new bag by pulling more film from the refill cartridge. One cartridge lasts for around 2 months for households with one cat.

1. Open the cartridge by removing the plastic strip.
2. Carefully pull out the end of the film.

Best product (with litter locker) for storing poopoo
I came across this product when i was cat sitting - wow -used with the litter locker it stores poo poo and wee wee until full - there is no smell from the product- I've been using this for about 2 years now and totally recommend it.there is an indication that the cartridge is coming to a end by a dark blue line running down the wrap

No warning when its near the end!
I think litter locker is an amazing product and an absolute must have if you have indoor cats but my one issue with it is that there is no warning when it is nearing the end of the cartridge. I was away for a few days last Christmas and a friend was looking after my cats The refill ran out during that time and so it just fell through. I had only given instructions to my friend to scoop, put the waste in and and pull the flush so that's what she continued to do, unaware it had run out! AWFUL MESS

Just buy it!
Honestly don’t think about it, just buy it. You will not regret it!! So easy to use and I don’t have to make a million trips to the bin room. Me and my mum both say it’s one of the best things we’ve ever bought!

Great at first but then...
After owning my litter locker for 6 months it is now outside and redundant. Back to poo bags. The smell from it started after about 5 months and then got so bad you could smell it two rooms away. It was cleaned regularly but I think the pull handle and centre opening sections just start to gape and game over. Smell completely gone now. Shame, worked well in the beginning.

Fab product
This is a wonderful product, I wish I'd bought one ages ago. It really does keep smells locked away and the bagging system is easy enough to use. The refill cartridges are stupidly expensive though so I'm going to have a go using a tie handled bin liner when the current cartridge runs out. With 3 cats I'd be paying a fortune in refills, which ain't happening, believe me. I would definitely recommend this product.

Never too late to change!
I am on my third pair of British Blues over a 35 year period and they have all been house cats. Previously I used Catsan litter and lots of plastic bags for the disposal of soiled litter ....NOT ANY MORE......this bin is excellent particularly when used in combination with either Golden White or Sanicat Ultra clumping litter so as I said it's never too late to change to a system that works and eradicates smells. The bag cassettes are easy to use and last over 4 weeks. I have two bins.

So glad you are stocking these again.
Been using for years now. Makes cleaning litter tray so much easier. No smell in the litter locker itself. Easy to change tie off bags once full and easy to change refill. Price is also competitive.

Big disappointment.
At first this seemed great, it locks in all odours and was very handy, then the bag kept getting tangled and I kept having to adjust it, which is messy. The replacement cartridge is way too expensive for what is really 1 blue bin liner. This is probably going in the recycle bin.

Love it.
Makes my life so much easier and there's no smells! Easy to use, easy to change, just brilliant all round. Only criticism I have is that it needs a handle for people who have more than one tray so we can carry it from tray to tray easily.

It works!!
I have 2 kittens so a lot of poop to scoop. I have this product next to the litter tray. It's really easy to use and it really does keep the smell contained. I empty it every time I clean the litter tray out which, as I'm obsessed with making sure it doesn't smell, it's quite often. However the refills seem to last forever. Can't recommend this product highly enough.

Excellent Product
We bought this about a year ago. It is excellent. We use it with normal white bin liners. We have two big cats and we empty this about once a week. Tie up the bag lift it out and straight in the wheelie bin. No mess and no smell.

What a relief
We've been struggling with the litter disposal in our tiny flat and finally lost our patience with the nappy sack/bin bag route. This is so amazing. It is much smaller than I expected but looks very neat and tidy against the wall and honestly you can't smell a thing. We're never going back

BEST THING EVER!!
no more traipsing back and forward to the bin every time the cats use their tray. This is a fantastic wee gadget. There is absolutely no smell at all from it.

Excellent Product, ZERO smells
I strongly recommend this product. It takes the hassle out of kitty litter disposal. After constantly having a kitchen that had that vague cat toilet smell about it, it has been extremely useful. Also, it seems to be to be a much more hygienic option.

No cat owner should be without one !
When browsing through the Zooplus web site I came across the Little Locker II and am so pleased I decided to try it. I have an indoor Maine Coone who can uses her box several times in 24hrs. The Litter Locker II is brilliant, it saves me going out to the bin in the middle of the night. I was sceptical about it being able to hold in the smells but was pleased to find it really works. Wish I'd known about it sooner or that it had been invented years ago. I have recommended it to all my cat loving friends whose cats use litter boxes.
