The Savic Nestor Jumbo Covered Litter Tray XXL is ideal for larger cat breeds thanks to the generous interior and big swing door. The hood and transparent swing door open up so you can easily clean all the hard-to-reach corners.

The clever details ensure that this spacious litter tray is a pleasant and hygienic place for your cat to do its business. The swing door can be flipped upwards to make cleaning the tray every day very easy. What’s more, the cover is fixed to that base tray with four clips and can be completely removed, allowing you to change the litter quickly and easily. The replaceable active carbon filter is fitted into the hood and ensures that no nasty smells escape. The filter should be changed at regular intervals.

Tip: The Savic Nestor Jumbo Covered Litter Tray XXL is perfect for timid kittens and nervous cats that are not yet used to using a covered litter tray. Very poor design

I am disappointed with my order the design of the door is horrible. It cant close properly resulting in smells spreading around easily, tgis makes the carbon filter usless.

HUUUUUUUGE litter box

Arrived broken but it’s only superficial, still serves the purpose it’s meant for, for the price I could not complain. Door is a bit weird with the spacing but, in fairness, you’re not going to leave a doodle sit in there for days to allow it to smell. Really big so takes a bit to fill it, still...worth it. Odd trench around the inner floor, difficult to root out small particles, still...worth it.

Big cats

This litter box is big enough for my two ragdoll boys and they seem to like it too. The only negative is that the clamps connecting the top to the lower part do not close correctly. Since I however won't transport it filled I will just carry the parts separately if I have to change it's location.

Works ok but door doesn’t close

I bought two of these, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. No complaints about the quality. The clips are stron and sturdy yet easy to undo. Better than the sliding clips on other models. The door is my big complaint. Weird design. It hangs slightly inwards of the door frame so there is always a big gap and smells escape easily. Not much point in the carbon filter. I like the size and quality, but am now looking for an equivalent with a normal door design.

This product is very good & large, but the door broke at our first attempt of fastening it to the box

Our kitten had grown very large very fast and we needed to buy a big litter box that would fit his size 1 year from now. He is a Siberian male and currently weights 5.6 kg. We bought two of these, one gray and one pink. They were really easy to assemble, but one of the doors broke immediately when we tried to put it on. Our cat adapted very quickly to the new toilets, previously we had two toilets without a roof or hatch. I suggest that you let yours take time and get introduced.

Pleasantly surprised

I have a kitten who is growing by the second and needed something bigger and covered. He doesn't like the flap so that is easily resolved. It is big and of a sturdy design. Yes, the filter isn't the easiest of things to get in but personally I think that this is good value for money. I am also impressed with the the service of Zooplus. Quick dispatch and delivery, and purchased quite a few items. All are reasonably priced and of decent quality.

Excellent

I am ordering a second one for my 2 elderly cats who seldom go outside now. The original is 3 years old. I am sure people are putting the door on the wrong way round if it does not fit. I did first time! The side clips are fine as long as you align them on the base correctly. They are bound to break if you force them.

Decent litter box

Some bad reviews on here but both kitties have taken to this no problem once they'd learnt what a cat flap is! Usually enjoy tormenting each other by trapping each other in it too! Yes clips are a bit flimsy but should last as long as you're a bit more gentle with them. Cats obviously still managing to get litter everywhere but that's because that's their specialised skill.

Does the job

I had reservations after reading the negative reviews here, but fortunately they have proven unfounded. Yes, the door doesn't close tightly, but the cat doesn't seem to mind. The filter takes care of any odour problems, and provided you handle the thing normally, it's perfectly sturdy. I am the clumsiest person alive and I have yet to break it. Would recommend.
