Easy to clean
I bought this mat to try and make an expensive but leaky litter tray workable. And it works great for that purpose, collecting the urine spillover and protecting the floor. I think it would also work well as the main little catching mat (intended use) due to it's easily cleanable design and material.

works when used right
I was using it wrong, initially, with the pointy sides up, because I thought one (cats) had to scrape the litter off by rubbing the feet against those bumps... WRONG! Bumps should face the floor, the mat should look like an Egyptian themed cookie tray. And then it works really well, tried with cat's best and tigerino, I stopped getting litter in bed altogether!
Doesn't work for my cat
It’s less than average in my opinion, it doesn’t trap much. It’s also difficult to clean. Will be replacing it soon

Best mat on the market
I've tried several litter mats, was also a cat sitter for 3 years and observed how efficient different mats were when visiting clients in their homes. This one catches 95-99% of the litter. I use the biodegradable clumping litter. Imo, these mats also suit clumping and non clumping clay litter, and crystal litter. One con - no instructions included. It must be placed with the 'pointy side" down. The "up" side has hollows and soft bristles that dislodge litter from kitty paws to be caught by mat
No noticeable difference
Had high expectations of this based on other reviews but I haven’t found it any different to other mats. Yes, it traps some of the litter but my cat still manages to track vast quantities of the stuff through the whole house. How can 4 little paws carry so much?!

Poor Quality, doesn't stop litter very well, stinks!
While this does grab litter from the cats paws it certainly doesn't grab enough of it. We have 3 of them in a row on the floor and even after going over 3 of them there's still lots of litter scattered throughout the house.
Also, they smell like weed, even after washing them out and leaving them outside for a couple of days the smell is still there.
I don't know what planet the other reviewers were on, but these really suck.

It's good and bad
The mat does catch the litter but my cats learned to step outside the mat when they get out of the litter box so i still have a problem with the litter all over the place. I bought it last week so maybe it's just lacking some adjusting to the mat. The surface is soft so maybe i just have picky cats.
Brilliant
I use this with Greenwoods veg type litter which tracks everywhere! But not with this mat. It is large and traps lots of pesky litter. I have tried lots of mats and this is by far the largest best one I have used. Rinsed off easily too.
