If the crate needs washing after use, it can be easily achieved - the upper tray can be removed by using the simple clip closures, to allow for deep cleaning inside.

Please note: Allow your pet time to gradually get used to being in the crate. Initially leave the door open, until your cat is more relaxed. Then try with the box closed and gradually increase the duration of time in the box. For initial car journeys, start with shorter trips. The box should never be used as a punishment, but rather as a protected, positive place for your cat.
