Not mousse consistency
I got this as a weaning food for this year's foster kittens, thought I'd be able to save some money compared to Royal Canin but it's not comparable. More like a fine mince than a mousse. Every tin has a few marble size rock hard lumps that only my dog can take care of. It's not bad for bigger kittens but I don't rate it for those first ever bites and you couldn't mix it with milk in a kitten bottle for those extra calories and tummy contents for those difficult babies.
