I've been using this bedding for my guinea pigs (rescues) for 20 years. It's not dusty, contains no softwoods, and is very absorbent.

My Merris usually have blankets, but for holidays I use litter so the neighbours 🙏 have it easier with the pee.

I’ve been ordering this product for years because of an animal with a foot ulcer, as it used to be really soft and free of splinters. In the past two years, though, it’s been full of splinters and has a rough texture. One positive thing is that it’s less dusty than regular wood shavings.
