Vitakraft Premium Menu dry food hedgehogs

This is not suitable food for hedgehogs!! It contains grains that shouldn't be given to hedgehogs, as well as nuts and fruit, which pet hedgehogs especially don't need.

Apart from a few crunchy balls and some unidentifiable crusts (probably insect larvae), there’s only dust and crumbs in the bag. Either crushed from storage, or just really old?? Anyway, the food doesn’t match the picture or the description. The crumbs – which are more like dust – aren’t eaten by the hedgehogs. They’d have to somehow lick it up. I’m not happy with the product. Now I’m trying to make a mash out of the powdery stuff, hoping it’ll be eaten.

I mix this treat with hedgehog and cat kibble, plus various dried critters for hedgehogs, and my little prickly ones love it – the tray is always licked clean! I also alternate it with cat tins. I'd really appreciate bigger packs. Up until midnight, there are about fifteen diners, and after midnight I have no clue, as I'm already tucked up in bed. I don't get why this product gets bad reviews – here, it's a hit, the hedgehogs are 100% happy. So I RECOMMEND IT!!!

Grain has no place in hedgehog food!!! I'm appalled that a well-known company is still offering unsuitable food for an insectivore.

My hedgehogs absolutely won't eat this, I ordered twice, opened one unfortunately, I'll try to return the other, but I'm still losing money.

The composition is nothing like a natural food source for hedgehogs and should definitely not be fed to them!

Unfortunately, it’s not getting eaten. The hedgehogs only eat the granulated pieces that are similar to cat food, and leave the rest behind.

The hedgehogs in my garden love it.
