The cage is easy to assemble and its size is great. However, the problem comes with the wooden shelves and ramps. They're made of wood, and once the rats pee on them, you'll never get rid of the smell. The shelves soak up the urine deep inside and there's no way to clean them, so after a week I had to buy washable plastic ones anyway.
