New recipe less meat content
Have bought WofW for years but since the recipe has changed I will look for other options. In particular the salmon bag is mostly chicken and much less of it in the new recipe.

New Recipe only 25% Fresh Chicken Meat
So disappointed with the new recipe for this food. My dog has been on it since he was a puppy only due to the high fresh meat content. Now the new recipe only has 25% fresh chicken meat compared to the 41% it was before. Will have to look for a different food option for him.

Top Quality and value
This brand is a bit pricey. However, they are VERY generous with their amounts (esp with their treats), so this bag will last a long while despite the amount of it I use daily in feeding our dogs and training the 1 year old Labrador. Ultimately, this is one of the more economical brands to buy.

Excellent Dry Food Dogs Love
Exceptional food our dog loved it from the start. Her coat is always shiny and she is extremely healthy and satisfied from eating this food. Great quality kibble

Wolf dry food
My Great Dane loves this food, just the right mix, licks the bowl clean. He is very muscular & has a shiny coat.Cannot recommend any other brand of dog food ,but WOLF Of THE WILDERNESS,
Excellent
After my Rottie not eating his food for 2 week I gave him this today and he "wolfed" it down!
Great food
My dogs really enjoy their Wolf of Wilderness. It's a good quality food 👍
Loved by my Giant Schnauzers
I’ve tried several different fried foods, but always one liked it and the other didn’t. With Wild if Wilderness they both love it, especially the Wild Hills variety.
Would definitely recommend
My 12 old GSD is getting very fussy about food but since changing to Wolf of the Wilderness she eats with no coaxing and her health is improving as a result
My fussy chihuahua loves to crunch this
sent by zooplus as a new customer trial thank you gift .. i will be ordering more in the future as Midge can be very picky and loves these little biscuits. My pug refuses but she is very fussy with anything hard she has to chew .. not a biscuit lover unless it's scottish shortbread haha.
Brilliant!
Our lab is enjoying his food again, he had really gone off the last food we were buying for him but he is loving meal times again. His stools are firm and It hasn’t upset his sensitive tummy. Definitely be buying again.
Finally a food they’ll eat!!
It’s a relief to finally find a grain free food that my 3 German Shepherds will all eat most of the time, 1 is very picky & eventually turned her nose up at raw. They all have a great coat & skin. The bag Is easy to open & has a great zip lock top
Great dog food
We have two very picky dogs. They have a lot of trouble with their foods. We change to this food and both have been a lot better.
Fantastic Food
Betty my Boxer loves this food, coat and eyes shine and she looks a picture of health. Very digestible kibble that she loves. She has no problem with any of the varieties loves them all.
Happy lad
My 11 month old Scottie loves his food and is thriving. Digestive system very healthy. Lovely shiny coat.
Great wolf food for wolfs
My (very wolf-looking) Siberian husky loves this food. When we got her as a puppy, she was very picky and would not eat at all for days if she did not like food. We tried every commercial brand of dog foods - until we found this Wolf brand.
I now buy a mix of flavours in dry and wet, and alternate. Her fur stays dry shiny and beautiful, and she is full of energy.
Excellent for digestion
Have been feeding this to my Deerhound for around 6 months (all varieties). Tried other quality brands but they either disagreed with his tummy or he was too skinny. With WofW poo is much firmer, min gas and weight good. A 12kg bag lasts 4 weeks for a 38kg dog and provides good value for money. As a fussy eater I still need to add a little meat, fish or egg to encourage him to eat but have had to do that with them all.
Excellent Quality Food For All Breeds of Dogs
Chose this with some of my reward points so I could give it a try. We have Jack Russells & St Bernards & one of the JRT's has a dodgy tummy & 1 is very fussy, so we usually have to buy 3 different types of dog biscuits, primarily Royal Canin & wet food for the fussy eater.
Cut a long story short, ALL dogs are now on these biscuits, no problems at all & they LOVE them
Dog loves it!
I usually feed my Spaniel raw meat & bone, but occasionally this is inconvenient - when travelling, for instance, and also times when, for no good reason, he just turns his nose up at it.
I've used Orijen previously, which suits him very well, but is expensive, so decided I would try this. I chose the venison dry food, which came with lamb wet food. The wet food, sadly, did not suit him, but the dry food is great and he loves it!
I love it
My dog (Boxer/lab/boston terrier cross breed) has had Wolf of Wilderness mixed with puppy food since she was 6 months old, and I am loving it! My dog is very active and therefore she needs a lot of energy, and as she is still growing the puppy food is working perfectly :) I also use that combo for my underweight care dogs from Hungary and they have all put on weight without a day of tummy trouble.
The smell is pretty strong, but it doesn't bother me and the dogs love it.
I won't be buying anything else for my dog :)

New recipe – drastic drop in quality
Since they've switched to this new recipe, my dog won't eat the food. Not any of the flavours. Something's not right.

Worse quality
Besides the fact that the bag arrived torn twice, it seems that this new recipe doesn't agree with them and is causing digestive issues.
I wouldn't recommend it at the moment.

Never any trouble eating
My dog doesn’t hesitate to dive into his Wolf of Wilderness kibble mixed with a bit of pâté of the same meat (lamb).

"Classic": szarvas, lazac, bárány, kacsa (4 x 1 kg)
Annoying because I feel like this is a bit misleading
Unfortunately, I wasn't careful enough to notice that it's not just, say, simply venison-flavoured, but it also contains chicken, and that's what I missed when I was choosing which one I wanted. I didn't look at the pictures, because that's the only place you could see that it's not just venison or salmon or lamb, but also contains chicken alongside these... So I couldn't even give it to my dog, as he's allergic to anything chicken-related. And that's really annoying.

Disappointing new recipe
The old recipe was really high quality (both the kibble ingredients and the packaging).
The new recipe doesn’t suit my dog anymore—he won’t finish his bowl, even though he’s usually greedy.
On top of that, his stools are much softer than before.
There’s no zip on the bag anymore, so now it’s impossible to close it.
Disappointed by this overall drop in quality at zooplus, I’m switching brands!

Diarrhoea
I've always been satisfied, but the formula has changed. Two of my dogs refuse to eat it and the other one has really bad diarrhoea, so I stopped immediately. Now I'm stuck with an almost full bag. No more Wolf food for our dogs.

Dog suffering from severe diarrhoea
For years, this was the perfect food. Our dog did really well on it. Now, for the first time, we've had a bag with the new formula. The lighter-coloured kibble stood out straight away, but unfortunately I didn't pay much attention to it. Our dog eventually ate them, but reluctantly. It's been days now. They've changed all the varieties, probably to cut costs.
For us, never again. I also don't see any good alternatives on zooplus, so we're done with it.

Green fields
The formula has changed. My dog has diarrhoea now. I can just throw the bag away.
Has anyone experienced if all the other flavours of Wolf of Wilderness have changed too?

Total disappointment
Recipe change = diarrhoea, foul-smelling farts. Very disappointed. I’ll have to change kibble again for our border collie.

very disappointing new formula
Price unchanged and a drastic drop in fresh meat content – it’s no longer a good product. Profitability isn’t the only goal… such a shame after years of loyalty.

12 kg: Nieuw Recept
Diarrhoea....
Suddenly our dog keeps having diarrhoea. The carbohydrate content is 40.6%!!! That’s way too much!!!
A dog can’t digest this, so his intestines can’t handle it.
I didn’t realise it was a new recipe, but now I checked because he’s got diarrhoea... These kibbles are just as expensive, but much worse!! So now I’m looking for another brand!

New recipe
I’ve been giving my Beauceron the Wolf lamb food for years—he’s now 6 years old. I got worried when I saw the recipe had changed and there was less fresh meat. We’ve gone through several bags since then, and honestly, I’ve noticed a real difference in his coat. It’s much softer and he’s like a teddy bear now. He still loves the food just as much as before.
It’s true that we don’t really like change when we’re happy with something, but in this case, I’m actually pleased :)

Drop in quality
New recipe = new product with the same name, that’s dishonest. They’ve gone from 41% meat to 25%—it’s not the same nutritional quality anymore. I really feel cheated with my last order.

Packaging
I've been buying the same brand of kibble for 6 years, and I just found out with my last order that the slider and zip to close the bags are gone. I'm really disappointed because it's not as convenient as it used to be anymore!

New recipe
I noticed a difference in my dogs’ stools (poop) between the old recipe and the new lamb kibble recipe.
It seems to me that it’s not as good as before.
The stools are lighter and softer.
And my dogs are licking their paws more than before.
Anyway, that’s what I’ve noticed.
