RINTI Max-i-mum Beef - dog dry food

A 30% vegetable content sounds promising at first, assuming that means just under 70% meat in the food. But the 30% is almost entirely potatoes, not a variety of vegetables as suggested. My dog had terrible diarrhoea, he was really unwell. I bought both the small and large packs. Total waste of money!!! I think this should be clearly stated on the front of the product. There are definitely dogs that tolerate potatoes well.

Unfortunately, the dry food just wasn't right for my dog at all. Even though I switched him over slowly, my rascal only ended up with diarrhoea. The smell was unbearable too. I reckon the high meat content just isn't what my dog actually needs. I'll stick with Josi and Zoo Royal Sensible. With those, I know my dog is doing well and doesn't get any skin problems or diarrhoea.

My dogs have never eaten kibble of any kind, they've always turned their noses up at this type of food. Today, I put a few pieces of kibble in their bowl, without any hope at all... I wasn’t really convinced, in fact I thought it would be yet another bag to give away or hand out to the local strays. But then, I turn around and a miracle happens—those 20 pieces of kibble had disappeared... In disbelief, I wait a bit and then fill the bowl with at least 200 grams... and nothing, they finally eat it!
