Supple joints
My dogs joints are alot more supple since he started his new hills prescription metabolic and mobility food
Not as good as reduced cal J/D
Hills J/D worked wonders for two of our dogs. We used the reduced cal for one of them because of weight issues. We tried the metabolic + mobility but found that it wasn't nearly as good for her joints. Please bring back the J/D reduced cal! It doesn't work having them mixed together. Now we buy the J/D normal cal plus metabolic to try and balance things out. Very awkward.

Rebrand hasn't worked
My boxer X labrador dog has been on these nuts (J/D reduced calorie) for years without a problem. This is the first bag of the nuts since they rebranded then and she won't eat them, I tried using them up by giving them to my other boxer dog but he won't eat them either. There is also an off putting smell from the nuts when you open the bag. I don't know what was changed since the rebrand but my dog certainly won't be going back on them . I always found them great in the past .
Our go to food
This food is perfect for my Border Collie who has a tendency to put on weight, and he had developed a slight limp and this has worked wonders.

My dogs don't like it at all
I changed to this food on the advice of my vet, and it has been a disaster. After the transition was complete, my dogs (a Labrador and Bulldog) stopped eating it all of a sudden ! My Labrador will eat almost anything, so I concluded that this food must have a very particular taste. It's a shame, I've been left with a huge bag of food and I have to switch to a different brand, it would have been good to have been able to try before you buy.

My dog is loosing his colour
Please help although this product is good for my Labrador s joint problems He has lost his shiny black coat and is turning silver all over. He is only 2years old. Any one else had this problem????

Great Product
My vet recommended this food for my little Cavalier King Charles who loves her food and was overweight. Since having this food she still loves her food but has lost all the excess weight, and is back to her lively happy self.

Dry Food
Hi all, I started my Labrador Sarge who is 8yrs old and 10kg over weight. He is now 4 weeks on this food and has lost 3kg already. So I would definitely recommend this food for over weight dogs.

Good to see that I can finally order this food at zooplus. It really helps my beagle, she has been eating it for half a year now and really appreciates it. Her joints are cutting back but ever since she started eating this food she doesn't even need any more painkillers. She only gets this food and luposan joint tablets. I can really recommend it to anyone who has a dog with joint problems.

Two 10-year-old bitches in my little pack of 4 doggies, one overweight and the other who had cruciate ligament issues. These kibbles have helped us a lot and, on top of that, they love them.
After a few months of use, my bitch is losing weight and they’re all in excellent shape. I still give the seniors some green-lipped mussel as a supplement in winter, but nothing more.

30% weight reduction 👍
At almost 27 kg, our little Lappin had become way too heavy 😖. Torn cruciate ligament, knee surgery was one of the consequences. The vet said the extra weight had to go! Switching her food wasn’t a problem, she gets nicely full and over time we’ve got her down to under 20 kg 👍. On top of that, her digestion improved as well. Our goal is 18 kg.
The food is expensive, but it works really well. You just have to stay consistent and keep the treats small.
