Makes very little noise. The only downside is that my cat is clever and manages to open the right-hand flap from the inside. Now I put a screen in front of it at night so she doesn't lock herself out.

I bought this cat flap to install in a wall. Previously we had another brand that worked really well but was a bit small. The tunnel system is perfect, but the 4-way locking system is not only complicated but also doesn’t work. If you leave it open in just one direction, the cats still manage to get through the other way and they’ve torn off the seal.

The larger sliders, which would be easy to use, are unfortunately installed on the inside, so that only the smaller, awkward sliders are available on the front of the flap, which are very cumbersome to handle. Also, the label on the flap could only be read correctly from the inside. In my opinion, this is an assembly error. Unfortunately, the photos in the online listing are unclear and, in my view, misleading. Enquiries with customer service were not satisfactory.

Unlike a cheaper competitor’s product, this one convinced us straight away. The flap is sturdy and can be adjusted effortlessly using the sliders. A really important point: this flap is escape-proof. Our cat can’t pry it open.

It works really well and is easy to assemble. But it says it has silent closing, which isn’t true – it makes a heck of a noise when the cat goes through and it shuts. That’s why I’m only giving three stars. Otherwise, we’re happy with it.
