kooa 2-in-1 Claw Clippers & Grinder with LED

Works well. Great lighting – the claw is clearly visible. They cut well and the grinder works nicely too. The only issue is the lock keeps getting stuck (so the scissor blades stay open when I'm using the grinder).

I haven't tried the scissor part, but the grinder is so awesome that you don't even need it—you can file the claw down in seconds (tested on an 8 kg pinscher). Previously, I bought a cheaper grinder, and when I pressed it against the claw, it slowed down and got stuck, so I spent a bit more this time and it was worth it—no such problems with this one.

Bought a year and a half ago and still just as effective, it's quiet, convenient with fast USB charging and its washable case. Easy to use and safe. The file is still in very good condition despite regular maintenance use for two dogs: one large and one small. There's only one speed, the LED lights up very well, making it easy to file all sides of a claw, and it's suitable for cooperative care training or desensitisation.

Doesn’t shine through the nail – warning! Not good for pigmented nails!!!!!! – and it doesn’t cut properly either, I don’t think you should have to press down hard just to cut a nail. I might send it back.

It doesn’t shine through the nail, maybe they should mention that it’s not suitable for pigmented nails. The light is basically only good for seeing what you’re about to cut. Cutting: well, I specifically looked for a big, robust nail clipper for my German pointer, but when I press this one, it doesn’t cut – you really have to squeeze with full force. I don’t think that’s normal. I’m considering sending it back!
