10 reviews forflexi Neon Dog Lead

This is a great lead. Very strong and sturdy.it doesn't tangle as its a tape and the dog hasn't tried to chew it and the reflective tape is an added bonus.

I bought this lead for one of my dogs and it's great. The lead rolls out of the case very smoothly and it is very light considering that mine is a large.

In less than 3 months, my 11-month-old husky snapped the lead. There was no visible damage, no bite marks, nothing. About 15 cm from his harness. It looked like it had been cut through. That's why I've now chosen the 10 roll lead. It's wider and hopefully stronger. He weighs 24 kg and pulls when he smells or sees something wild. Just a pity.

The quality, like with many things, has deteriorated over the years, but this version is still better than their main line (all-black) and other companies’ products. This is my fourth Flexi for the dog in 5 years – the last one broke after 3 months. The tape snags and sometimes won’t retract, starts acting up quickly. You have to pull it back and forth for anything from a second to a minute before the problem is fixed. This time, a screw fell out after a few months. The plastic on the handle also seems more fragile.

It holds up really well with my 45kg powerhouse, even when he charges in with a bit of force. I do use the shock absorber between the collar and the lead though. My first one was stolen after two loyal years. It was used almost every day and never caused any issues. Unfortunately, the second one started having problems with retracting after just a few weeks. Now I’m going to buy a third, since I don’t know any alternatives.

Very sturdy lead, size L can handle even a 45 kg giant!

Bought the lead about 3 or 4 months ago and it snapped clean. Not great considering the price.
