Nomad Tales Spirit 2-in-1-Travel Bottle

There was nothing to say it couldn't be put in the dishwasher so I chanced it with the main clear plastic part of the bottle after a very long hot day to sterilise it but unfortunately it's shrunk and warped so it can't carry as much water - thankfully it is still functional so can be used for shorter outings but won't be able to stand upright from now on! Such a pity as it is very handy as you can easily pour the water your dog doesn't drink back into the bottle.

Unfortunately, to get the water out without unscrewing the cap, you have to press a small button really hard, which is difficult to do, and only a tiny bit of water comes out. To let the dog drink, you have to unscrew the cap and pour it into the part attached to the bottle. Plus, it's very heavy and you can't keep it in your bag because it leaks water. Wrong purchase.

I've already bought 2 of these and now I've ordered 2 more. They're useful for my Luna, who walks very little and only goes out for her needs. She won't drink from any bowl except the bottle. She lets me know when she's thirsty and I have to use only that, otherwise she won't drink. Thank you.

I don’t really have any issues with the product itself, there’s nothing wrong with the quality, it’s just the usage that’s a bit awkward. You have to turn out the blue drinking part, which doesn’t happen quickly, and folding it back is just as tricky. Okay, it’s silicone, so it bends, but it’s still harder than I expected, and the water flow isn’t strong, it just trickles out. Meanwhile, the dog is pacing, wanting to drink already, but I’m still fiddling with the bottle, trying to unfold it for him :) It’s ended up as a spare bottle in the car.

After a few uses, the top part got deformed and water leaks out of it.

After the third use, a seal fell out and the locking mechanism no longer works.

After washing it in the dishwasher, the bottle shrank to half its size. Later, I noticed that in small print on the paper packaging it says it should be washed by hand. There was no information about this on the bottle itself. It’s strange that a dog bottle can only be washed by hand. I do not recommend it, I have to throw it away.

Unfortunately, the whole bottle got deformed straight away during the first (hand) wash. I get that it shouldn’t come into contact with hot water, but honestly, in the 21st century, making a flask out of material that’s not even good enough for mineral water bottles for this price is a joke!!!! Plus, it was already leaking the first time I used it. We didn’t get any instructions with it either. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!!!

The product is made of good quality plastic. It's easy to use for watering. Unfolding the silicone part takes a bit of time, but it does its job. Overall, it's an excellent flavour bottle for hikes and walks. The handle came off the first time I used it (the string broke), probably due to a material defect. I put a different handle on it, but this didn't affect the quality of the product.

The bottle itself is fine, although it has a small capacity, but I could live with that. What’s negative, though, is that it leaks, it doesn’t close properly, you have to press the button really hard for the water to come out, and you can’t pour the water back in. But the worst thing is the water leaking from the rubber bowl – it’s unusable and impractical.
