I use a clean nylon bristled broom for removing the dog hair. I think it works with the static energy of the nylon bristles. The hair sticks onto the hair when you just touch the hair lightly with the broom. No need ot press hard on the bed at all. Works to remove dog hair on fleecy beds as well.

I bought this bed three years ago, and it is still going strong (in fact I have just logged on to order another- awaiting stock). Its very handy to be able to take out the stuffing and wash the covers. After three years of hard use by my retrievers (its by far their favourite bed, so its used all the time), the foam in the very bottom section has started to disintegrate, but I can easily replace that. The removable cushion has also gone a bit flat, but, after three years I'm not surprised.

This is a great bed, very durable and sturdy but a nightmare to hoover and get hairs off it...would appreciate any advice on removing the dog hair from any other buyers

Absolutely good bed. The material is water repellent and easy to wipe off or even vacum off. You can take the pillows out and put it in the washmashine. My dog (14 yrs) absolutely loves it. The pillow inside is a bit too big and fluffy so we replaced it with blankets.

I bought this a good few months ago and it is easily the best dog bed i've had. We have a yellow lab and trying to keep on top of the moulting is constant challenge. the hair can be hoovered off the bed quite easily (we use a dyson with a pet hair attachment) and we've washed it in the machine about 10 times so far and its holding up brilliantly. its so good we bought 2, 1 for the sitting room and 1 for where he sleeps. They are really comfy looking and in terms of design they look good.

An amazing dog bed, we bought the largest size '3 yrs ago' as we have 2 large dogs, a Boxer & a Labrador who love to 'share a bed, We bought a couple of double 'cheap sleeping bags to put the bed inside ( we tuck the excess under the bed) - this makes an easy job of washing the sleeping bags - ensuring the bed remains fresh and hair free! thus reducing the need to wash the bad too often. Superb product still in its original shape as so strong even with our '2 monsters! Lol !

My two Flatties love their beds. They are waterproof but twice have been washed in the washing machine and dried at low in tumble drier and still look like new. All you need to do is open zips and take out pillows and the foam bottom then into washing machine and when dry put pillows and foam bottom back into the covers. It's so easy it's great.

I bought this dog bed for my flat coat almost 2 years ago and my dog loves it, the bed has strong material and keeps it's comfortable shape. I've now got a pup as well and I bought a bed for him but a different make and my pup won't sleep in it he prefers the sleepy time dog bed, so I will have to buy another one for him next.. I would recommend this bed to any dig lover.

Had this a few months now. Still looks like new and has been unzipped and washed twice (the cushion more). It's the only bed I've bought which has kept it's shape and our terrier loves it. Yes it was more than I really wanted to spend but cheaper ones have been proved to be a false economy. Great bed and would definitely get another (if this ever wears out!)

The outer sides are a bit stiff, but the middle cushion has two sides – a warm one and a cooler one, which is great.
