Wild Freedom Adult "Rough Storms" Duck - Grain-Free

This is the best mono-protein dry cat food I’ve tried – and my cats agree! It has a relatively high percentage of single-source protein (duck, which is much less likely to cause allergies than chicken, beef, or pork). It also contains good amounts of taurine and B12, which are essential for most cat breeds. I was finally able to solve my Bengal’s digestive issues (chronic diarrhoea) with this food. Highly recommended.

I have 3 cats, and these are among the few kibbles they actually enjoy eating. The kibbles are quite small, but I think they're just right for small-sized cats.

I’ve been buying these kibbles for my cats for a long time. Unfortunately, as of now (06/2026), they’re packed in what seems like poor, old packaging. The seams break very easily. The last two bags arrived with holes (I’m not sure if they happened during transport or were already there in the warehouse). I’m afraid the quality has gone downhill, so we’re switching to ND kibbles.

Unfortunately, 99% of the dry food varieties contain potatoes or potato starch, which isn’t healthy for cats (especially Bengals).

My cat loves this food. Unfortunately, she doesn’t like this particular flavour because the kibble is incredibly small and it has virtually no scent. I mix it with another flavour with larger kibble, but she still leaves the small ones in the bowl and won’t eat them.

For the past 2 years, I’ve been buying the same food because my cats used to go crazy for it... Unfortunately, something must have changed in the ingredients because the food is now dry as sawdust... On top of that, the size of the pieces has changed and they’re very small, so my cat has to swallow them without chewing, which resulted in some “throwing up”... It’s a shame because now I’ll have to look for something else :/

Our tomcat has an incredibly sensitive stomach and, when he was younger, he had long periods of severe diarrhoea and fever whenever he ate dry food. Even the vet’s special dry food just made things worse!! So he’s pretty much only eaten fresh food, and his stomach has been fine because of that. But then we got a bag of this food to try for our female cat, and our tomcat managed to get some of the dry food too—and, to our surprise, it went really well!! So now he gets a bit of this food every now and then, and it works brilliantly!!

We’ve been feeding Wild Freedom dry food for years because, for a dry food, it had a relatively high meat content and the pieces were really big, which made them perfect for clicker training and the puzzle board. Now the meat content has been more than halved and the pieces are tiny. So it’s no longer usable for us and we won’t be buying this brand again.
