Happy cats
Cats love the food, and it looks just like the regular Smilla that they love.

Our cats won't eat it
We use other versions of smila for the neighbourhood cats and decided to try Smilla Essentials out as I hadnt seen it before. It's not great when semi feral cats living outside wont eat it! Never had this problem with the other versions of smilia other than with our spoilt house cats.
Worst ever
My cats never refused any food and won't touch this one! 30kg of waste food!

That's no good
My three usually really like Smilla food. Unfortunately, this product was a total flop and I even bought 2x15kg bags. They won’t eat it at all. Not even when I try to sneak it in.

My cats don't like it
My cats won't eat it, they want nothing to do with it. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Cats don't eat it
Bought 30 kg for the stray cats but they don't eat it at all.
I'm now giving it to the one stray dog in the area, so at least I don't have to throw it all away.

no success
Except for the hedgehogs... none of the cats I feed liked them! I had to get creative to use up the stock. Even the least picky cats turned their noses up at them, to the point of going somewhere else to be fed!

Bad choice
I've been ordering from this brand for years, and I recently tried this new type, Smilla Essentials Adult with chicken, and bought two bags straight away. However, my three cats don't want it at all, even though I tried to get them used to it. They only ate a little when they were really hungry. The quality is terrible. I'm very disappointed. Unfortunately, I can't return it anymore—what should I do?

Doesn't taste good
Our cats, who are usually not picky at all, refused to eat these kibbles. Apparently, they really don’t like the taste, since they’d rather beg for food all night than touch these. 😅

Absolutely inedible
We have 13 cats who aren’t particularly picky—they usually enjoy the regular Smilla dry food in various flavours. With this one, though, they just scratched around the bowls and meowed for food all day. The next day, they even peed and pooped on the food. This has nothing to do with proper cat food, so I really wonder why it isn’t taken off the shelves immediately instead of annoying customers.

Low to average quality
They’re good value at this price, but if the price goes up I don’t think I’d buy them again. The cats in my colony will only eat them if I mix them with a bit of wet food, otherwise they just leave them in their bowls.

No luck...
Unfortunately, none of my three cats liked this food, and it sat untouched for days. The cats actually preferred to go hungry rather than eat it.

Terrible!!!!!!!!
I have 5 stray cats that I decided to feed, so I bought this because it was cheap without checking the reviews, and exactly the same thing happened. They’d rather starve than eat it, they went a whole week without eating! I had to buy another brand. Ended up costing me a lot!

Terrible!!!!!
Just like all the other reviews, my cats tried it, vomited, and would rather go three days without eating than eat this again. I dare say it's even dangerous to consume! Zooplus should remove this product!

5 cats 👍
All my cats eat it happily. At first, I mixed it with other Smilla food they used to get, and then just this one. Works well.

Bad
None of my cats want to eat this food. I bought a big pack so I wouldn't waste it, and now I have to mix it with wet food, which is an extra expense, and I have 9 cats.

Completely Useless...
The cats refuse to eat it... I tried not giving them any other option for 2 days... They each ate maybe 3 pieces... Even the dogs refused to eat it... I've never experienced anything like this before... And I bought a whole bag... Money down the drain... Let my friends try it with their cats too, same result.
