Purizon Large Adult Chicken & Fish - Grain-Free - cat dry food

My maine coon absolutely loves this dry food. Kibbles are perfect size for a maine coon cat ( very large)

My 2 bengals absolutely love this dry food... my silver bengal would not eat anything except raw meat so it took us 6 yrs to finally find a dry food that he would eat! Love it.. would not be caught without it!

Bought this for my Maine Coon pack. I like the fact that the kibble is quite big and it forces them to chew rather than just swallow. Taste wise it must be good as even the kittens ditched their kitten Purizon and went for the big kibble. Now, it must be stressed here that our cats are on wet food mostly and the dry food is only used in emergency or if the weather is hot and we have to leave the house for a few hours, so can’t say if there would be any gastrointestinal issues when fed this 24/7

Got this food for my Maine coon. Hi loved this food very much but approximately after a week on this food he got a severe diarrhoea ( 5-6 times a day very liquid poo). But my two other feral cats had no problem and loved this food.

I thought I'd give my two Maine Coons something different for a change. They accepted it reasonably well, but the effects were disastrous. One keeps throwing up, the other gets diarrhoea from this food. At first, I thought it was just a coincidence and tried again after two days, but got the same result. It's a shame, but I guess this will end up in the bin. Other brands with large chunks are tolerated without any issues, but apparently not this one.

Our two cats won't eat this food, even though they usually like fish and chicken separately. The pellets are also too big. Looks like I'll have to throw it away.

We've been buying this cat food for years, but the new recipe is a huge disappointment. It contains less meat and lower quality ingredients, and on top of that, it's become even more expensive. So in terms of value for money, it's just not worth it anymore—unfortunately, we'll have to look for another product.

The huge kibbles make even the greediest cat chew. Works great for me.

New formula for the food—my cats don't like it anymore, and it upsets my tomcat's stomach :(

Good size, it really makes my Maine Coons chew, which is great! Palatability +++ protein quality +++ I recommend it to my adopters for their adult Maine Coons.

I've been buying this food for years, but now the recipe has been completely changed (I compared the old and new ingredients) and unfortunately my cats had to vomit and had diarrhoea the next day. It's such a shame that the recipe was changed. Now I have to look for a new product, unfortunately. The size has also got smaller.

Thanks for this great product! One of my two Ragdoll tomcats used to throw up “all the time” because he would wolf down his food, even slow feeders were no challenge for him 😑. The pellets are really twice, if not three times, as big as regular dry food. I wanted to introduce Purizon slowly, like I do with any new food, but that’s clearly not necessary—they’re practically eating it out of my hand because they love it so much!!!

I’ve been buying this cat food for over 10 years. It saved my cat’s life—she’s allergic to grains—and ever since they changed the packaging (and also the size of the kibbles), she occasionally gets diarrhoea like she did before we started using it. I suspect they’ve lowered the quality, which is such a shame… it’s been so many years, and now I have to switch, which is really tough.

We had been buying this type of food for several years without any issues. After the last delivery, we fed it to our tomcats. Both of them started vomiting afterwards. Even the next day, feeding them ended up with vomiting again. Once we stopped using this food, the problem disappeared. Never buying it again.

My two tomcats really like these kibbles. I originally bought them to help prevent gobbling. The bag lasts quite a while too, since they're just regular domestic cats (both about 4-6kg). Sometimes they even lick the bowl clean after eating. :D

They’ve changed it, they don’t want it anymore and on top of that, the quality has gone down.

The quality of all Purizon dry foods has gotten worse now, at least the sterilised ones that I use. They’ve taken out the meat or fish protein and put in peas as filler. Only one of my cats can eat it, the one who’s constipated, because the other one gets diarrhoea, I suppose because of the peas. It’s a real shame, it used to be a brand with great quality for the price, but I see this is happening with loads of other brands too, adding peas because they’re obviously cheaper.

We used to love this product, but the new formula gave our cat diarrhoea. We had to throw the whole package away and won’t be buying it again.

The recipe has been changed, they added a ton of pea protein instead of animal proteins, and now my cat has diarrhoea!!!
