Applaws Adult Chicken - cat dry food

Mine are pretty lively... So I'm wondering whether my 1 and a half and 3 year olds can also eat this? I've tried so many other dry foods and they don't really like wet food.. GLG

My cats are happy with this and it's great value at this price. I tried Purizon but my cats got obsessed with it and got really fat - difficult to fix with more than 1 cat.

Both of my cats love it - and have done for quite some time! I have not seen any issues in terms of adjustment or compatibility, and if my cats are anything to go by yours will love it too!

Neither of my cats have had any problems - my little 8 month old has been eating it for a while now and is developing into a fine specimen! They always lick the bowl clean, and I mean spotless! My 9 y/o gets the adult version and also eats well! Both of them love it!

The potatoes were increased from 10% to 14% and some sweet potato was added. Fine - with 80% meat content that's 140g on 1kg, which is still okay. When you think about grainy foods that have maximum 4% meat content then it seems like a luxury!!! However my cats get soft poo every now and then which is not very pleasant with long fur!!! Other than that - perfect food!!!

Cats are obligate carnivores, so it's very important that their diet is meat-based. The digestive system of a cat was not designed to process large amounts of grain and you risk a large number of health problems if you feed them a high carbohydrate diet full of cereals and grains. My cats absolutely adore this food, and they require less of it because it packs more nutrients in each cup than a low quality cat food. They have bright eyes, gorgeous coats and tons of energy! A++ cat food.

Regarding my pets: + very quickly accepted, our kitty devoured it without ever having eaten dry food before + very compatible, small poos, no diarrhea or itching + size is perfect, you can really stretch it if you dose it right (2 cats, 7 kg bag, with wet food lasts roughly 5 months) + Perfect shape seeing as cats don't chew so much anyway - quite salty for cat food

From day one they have licked their plates clean which gives me confidence as the food supplier in the household! As I like to have lots of different flavours for my kitties so that they don't get bored. This was a great find! The pieces are a little small but doesn't make much of a difference with a full mouth as they have to chew! Paws and thumbs up :-) And when it runs out we will graduate to the Adult which offers even more flavours!

I wanted to switch our cat to a grain free food and after much research decided to try this one out and she loves it! It's also well priced.

My cat is a 3 years old male unneutered. Sins he was small i always used to feed him Whiskas kitten and adult. The main problem i had was that i saw my cat lose weight ( like a a 0.5 to 1kg) the vet used to tell me it might be worms...... not the case... after 3 years of buying Whiskas i read the label and found less than 5% of meat proteins and the rest all wheat’s and fibres. So i changed his diet to Applaws and within the first 2 weeks he gained weight, 4/5 weeks gained more muscles.

Both my cats love this food and have lovely glossy coats. Highly recommended.

Tried every grain free cat food. The house was littered with samples but madame would have none of it. Applaws chicken is the only dry food she likes. She's been on it for months now and she's still happy. Her fur is soft and shiny and she has plenty of energy. I totally recommend this dry cat food. It's got high meat content, it's grain free and for the quality it's very good value for money.

Our two cats love this food, they choose it over all other available cat food. It is high protein so it is good for them. Most importantly it gives them *cough* nice solid poop that doesn't smell too awful haha! It's expensive, but so worth it.

My 8 cats have been enjoying Applaws dry food for months now,I would not use anything else.I have recently rehomed a kitten and she is enjoying Applaws kitten food.Zooplus are excellent,I cannot fault.

In my first order with zooplus, I ordered a number of high quality, low carbohydrate foods to try out on my cats. This was by far their favorite. They tore right into it right from the start, which is unusual for them with a new food. Although too early to tell in the long run, I believe my 13-year old overweight cat was a bit more energetic on this food, and, hopefully, he'll lose a bit of weight not having the grains to deal with.

I used to use Royal Canin Sensitivity control SC31. My cat was diagnosed at a very young age with his sister to be allergic to all cereals (wheat, maize, rice, soya, etc), rabbits, tuna, white fish, etc. SC31 ingredients were changed last year, and I had to search for a cereal free dry food for my cat. Applaws was, and still is, my only option. I am lucky my cat loves it and never seems to get tired of it. He has been on this diet for over a year now, no problems observed. It's the best smelling dry cat food, so your cat will be unlikely to get bad breath. He doesn't bleed when I stoke him now, or lose loads of fur from stoking. Nor is he having diarrhoea.

My cat started going off his dried food at age 16. I started feeding him wet food but recently decided to try him on Applaws when I noticed it was available on the zooplus web site. (I had read about it and how good the ingredients were) Result - FANTASTIC!!! HE LOVES IT - he won't eat the wet food any more and is looking really well for his age (now 18) PLEASE WILL YOU STOCK THE APPLAWS DRY DOG FOOD SOON! I would like to feed it to my dogs.

We have two siamese with very sensitive tummies and we have tried every single brand on the market and this is the first which they don't get sick on- probably due to the lack of cereals. Its not their favorite but it stays put- worth every penny!

Pud has never eaten dry food before! He turned his nose up at all the other brands we've tried since he was a kitten. At last, we can leave him some food during the day that won't spoil. Still feed moist pouches for breakfast and prawns for tea. Shame he won't touch the Applaws wet food at all!

This seems to be the best quality cat food out there and my cats love it. Introduce it slowly to the cats, otherwise they would easily get diarrhea from the high protein content. 5 big stars from me! *****

The food in the bowl was eaten very quickly. They prefer it.

My cats love it and honestly, it's the only one that's agreed with them. Plus, it's helped them grow quite a lot. I use it for sphynx cats and I supplement it with wet food.
