Golden Nature Yucca

Used to regular clumping litters, I wanted to try this one because it’s supposed to be more absorbent. It’s true that the clumps it forms are much more effective and don’t stick to the tray. Unfortunately, this litter is MUCH more smelly than a standard clumping litter! Given the price, I won’t be buying it again!

My picky tomcats accept it. No other organic cat litter has been accepted so far. Plus, it works great in my automatic litter box. The litter needs to be quite fine so it can be sifted. Regular silica litter clumps way too much during this process.

This is a super litter, not smelly, doesn’t get dusty, and it absorbs pee incredibly well, but… if you don’t scoop out the pee clumps twice a day – because the pee really does form rock-hard clumps – then the pee stuff starts to dissolve and turns into a muddy, urine-soaked pile. Now, that’s smelly and the cats drag it everywhere. For this price, it really wasn’t worth it for two cats for two weeks. The promised 3 months was nowhere to be found 😂

Excellent

If I could, I’d give it 0 stars. It doesn’t absorb unpleasant smells at all. The stench spreads horribly throughout the whole house because it sticks to the cat’s paws. The only good thing is that it doesn’t create dust and clumps well, but only with urine. Everything else is a disaster. This product is absolutely not worth the price, and it doesn’t match the description or the promises from the manufacturer.

Although this cat litter does live up to its promise of being dust-free, unfortunately I’m not very enthusiastic about it otherwise. The biggest issue is the texture: the pellets become rock hard. On top of that, it’s definitely not recommended for households with large cats. I have two regular cats and a 12 kg Maine Coon myself, and the litter gets tracked all over the house. I find it everywhere—from the kitchen floor to even on the sofa. For a heavy cat that carries a lot of litter under its paws, this just doesn’t work.

Love this litter, it clumps quickly and doesn’t leave stains or residue in the tray when you clean it. The pee solidifies really well so it doesn’t break into pieces, even if you handle the clumps a bit roughly. And it’s COMPLETELY DUST-FREE. The only downside is that it’s a bit expensive.

Clumps well, forms strong lumps, but doesn’t stick to the sides of the cat litter box.
