Best litter I have ever purchased

This is amazing litter, I have never seen cat litter like it. It clumps together and protects the rest of the litter from getting wet unlike other types. I tried my cats with so many different types over the past few years but this is leaps and bounds above the rest. It's good quality, it doesn't smell, it's extremely easy to clean up soiled litter and good value for money and use.

High dust!!!

I bought this as I was trying to move away form the wood pellets type of litter since one of my cats developed bronchitis and I was looking for a low dust alternative. It performs similarly to the wood pellets in terms of clumping, is good for odour control and it's super light to carry. However, it is very dusty. You can see this not only when filling the tray but also while removing soiled litter. Every time I do this it makes me cough, so it must be much worse for the poor cats.

Great for tiny kittens

The best litter I've ever used to raise young kittens. Clumps cleanly. Kittens eye infections have noticeably reduced Very Significantly since I changed to Joe's. 10/10

Better than eco litter

My three cats took to it straight away. It's a bit less dusty than the natural fibre litter I used to buy from DM. Since the eco-litter unfortunately brought a whole army of food moths into my house, I decided to give Joes a try for now. I really like that it does a great job of trapping smells. But what I especially like is that, because of its coarser texture, the litter doesn't get spread all over the flat as much as the smaller, lighter stuff. So far, I'm happy!

Great, but it creates a lot of dust

It clumps nicely, doesn't smell, but honestly it creates more dust than any previous litter I've used.

So much potential but it gets way too dusty!!!

Not sure if I just got an incredibly bad batch, but this litter is insanely dusty. I've used Cat’s Best before and tried a lot of cat litters in the same category (eco-friendly and flushable), but Joe’s is even dustier!! I honestly don’t get how that’s possible? There’s dust all over the bathroom and my throat and mouth get dry when I clean the box because it’s so dusty 😅 It also forms pretty mediocre clumps, they just fall apart.

Doesn't clump well

The litter is very dark and coarse. It doesn't clump well and is very difficult to clean.

It's alright, but could be better

The product itself doesn't have a noticeable smell, and the odour when used is average. You have to clean it more than once every 24 hours, otherwise it starts to stink. I didn't have any dust at all, and even though it's quite light, it doesn't get tracked too far from the litter box. However, I'm not happy with the clumping. The clumps are fairly solid, but they're not completely dry, which makes them harder to remove. I won't be switching to this product.

too much dust

I really liked the idea of recycled paper, because it's better for the environment. Unfortunately, my cat started sneezing halfway through the bag. After I switched to corn litter, the sneezing stopped immediately. The cat litter also doesn't have a pleasant smell and the clumps sometimes fall apart when scooping. Unfortunately, I have to throw away half the bag. It's a great sustainable idea, but sadly not suitable for my cat.

Good quality and value for money

I took a chance and bought the big pack, and I'm really glad I did. I used to use Cat's Best smart pellets, but my cat didn't seem to like the big pellets, so I tried Cat's Best sensitive, but he had an allergic reaction to that. Joe's Cat is similar to Cat's Best original, but better because it tracks less, uses recycled paper, and is cheaper! It doesn't smell and only gives off a little dust when I pour it, which is important for me as an asthmatic.

Best paper product so far…

... but unfortunately it's not dust-free, though it clumps really well. KatZ I bought it because of my asthmatic cat and had to realise that it produces too much dust, so as the only litter it doesn't work for our needs. Over time, I've come up with a mix using corn litter that even convinced my husband, who's a bentonite fan. The bin collectors are happy too, since we've had less weight in the bin since switching to plant-based litter.

Works perfectly BUT not suitable for automatic litter boxes (NEKASA)

The cat litter works well and clumps nicely. However, probably because it’s quite light, it doesn’t work well with the NEKASA automatic litter box. No visible dust, and the cats didn’t have any issues with it either.
