Trixie Protective Grille for Windows (Side Piece)

I needed this protection for the bedroom so I could leave a window tilted open at night. The windows are set deep into the wall, so there's no need for protection at the sides or top. Unfortunately, not even the wide ends of the protector fit between my windows (they're very close together). And they're too thick to install under the closed window. Sticking them on wouldn't work either, as it would be too unstable—only the bottom rail has a narrowing, so it carries all the weight.

The grilles are attached with small rails. According to the instructions, you can either glue or screw them on – but only screws are included, no adhesive pads. And most people probably won’t want or be able to drill into their window frames. So unfortunately, you have to buy some separately. You can attach it in a way that you don’t have to remove it to open or close the window normally. Of course, it doesn’t look great, but that doesn’t really matter. Overall, not completely satisfied, but it does the job!

No proper instructions, and the blocks for fixing are too thick for our window frames.

Unfortunately, it requires drilling, and it's not as universal as the manufacturer claims – it doesn't fit all types of windows. No instructions in Polish.

The racks are very nice and practical, but because we have tall tilt windows, they're just a bit too short, so that's why 4 stars.

Can't be stuck on, only screws are included in the package. For the price, they could have added some adhesive pads as well.
