It's perfect, easy to install and set up.

The feeder works flawlessly. Programming it via the app is really easy and intuitive. What I love about PetKit products is that the devices are super easy to clean. The design is genuinely well thought out. Regarding the negative reviews from other users: Of course, the feeder doesn’t have a battery. It runs on mains power. Thanks to the small backup battery, it doesn’t forget its settings when it’s unplugged.

The biggest downside of the device is that it dispenses a large single portion – for a dog this might be a plus, but for a cat it’s a problem (weight gain). After 1.5 years of use, one of the two separating (portioning) paddles broke off. The app works properly.
