I bought this assuming from the pictures it was a timer feeder but it just the replacement bowls for the feeder. Bowls are fine, but pricy though.

Excellent metal, removable bowls in a plastic frame. They don’t hold onto smells and don’t get scratched. Easy to wash in the dishwasher. Both the pet and the owner are happy. The only downside was that the feeder ended up costing me twice as much as I originally thought, since I had to buy these metal bowls to replace the plastic ones. The plastic ones picked up smells really easily and the dog sniffed at them suspiciously, and after just a couple of uses there were already scratches from the spoon on the surface of the bowl.

I wrote on 12/12 that the replacement bowls didn’t work. Turns out they do, but not as replacements – they’re actually extra bowls that you put into the plastic trays. I find that a bit misleading and confusing – pity there aren’t stainless steel bowls available from the start. The machine is harder to close with the stainless steel bowls, but if you press down on the locking mechanism at the top, it works. The clock can only be set roughly. Still, I’m satisfied, as it’s secure and tamper-proof, which is important here.

Actually pretty good, I've had the thing for 4 months now. Unfortunately, the numbers and lines are coming off. I don't think that's great. Feels like wasted money then.
