Modern Living Mochi Drinking Fountain

The fountain stopped working after 3 months. After changing the water and plugging it back in, the pump wouldn't start. There was enough water, the cable isn't damaged, and even replacing the adapter didn't help. An absolute waste of money for a poor-quality product that stops working after just 3 months. I strongly do not recommend it.

Even without filling above the MAX level marked on the fountain, after one of the cats drinks from it, the pump starts throwing all the water out until it runs dry.

I love it: It's beautiful, quiet, keeps the water clean, fresh and moving. IT'S BEEN AT HOME FOR A MONTH AND NOT ONE OF OUR 4 CATS HAS DRUNK FROM IT YET. WHAT A LETDOWN! They'd rather drink from a muddy puddle than from the Mochi. SUCH A SHAME! Especially when it's so great!

It's easy to stop water from spilling out of the fountain: just don't fill it above the "Max." mark on the tank, as that brings the water level up to the cable outlet and causes it to overflow. To clean and refill the fountain, you need to unplug the pump from the power supply so that the water flowing down to the lower tray drains into the transparent bucket. It's true that if you move it carelessly without unplugging it, it's easy for water to spill. The filter (with charcoal) is very large and effective. Very good.

Unfortunately, there's something wrong with the design—every now and then, water spills out of the fountain and floods the floor. It's been happening since the beginning, and even after cleaning, the problem keeps coming back. Water slowly seeps from the fountain along the cable.

Works really well & is almost silent. Water does spill out easily though, so I use a mat with edges to keep the floor dry. Both cats use it ⭐️
