The lifesaver food for emergencies
My 22-year-old kitty, who’s blind after a stroke and has kidney failure and high blood pressure, sometimes has episodes where she refuses to eat and gets very weak. This is the only wet food she’ll accept during those times. I give her just a little, bit by bit, with a spoon, until she gets her strength back and her appetite returns, usually for a day or two. Then she refuses it again and goes back to her normal food. The only downside is that the pâté turns dark quickly once opened.
