Animonda vom Feinsten...

... is the best food for my 13 year old cat! I have fed him this for around 8 years now and he really enjoys it, as we always used to have problems with other brands!... It feels like this product is tailor-made for my cat.

A really good pet food

I've been ordering this wet food for years now and I'm really happy with the quality. My tomcat has been eating it for years. You just have to figure out which food suits your pet and what your animal likes.

Quality has declined

My 9-year-old usually isn’t that picky, but when it comes to the Animonda trays with poultry, she won’t touch a single bite anymore; it’s not the same with the lamb and beef varieties.

Animonda wet food for cats

The product seems good, but I can't figure out which one is the poultry product that also contains pasta—I’d like to avoid buying it by mistake. The only downside is that in EVERY delivery, the trays arrive dented or broken, and I’ve seen this issue mentioned in other reviews too.

Senior cat Wet food beef

Cats are notoriously picky, but they really seem to love this food. Finally, a meal they rush to eat!

Good ingredients and a good protein-to-calorie ratio. Would be even better with chunks of meat.

Minette, 10 years old, sterilised, European shorthair. She had been eating Miamor Milde Mahlzeit Senior for 3 years, but the recipe changed (fat content from 3 to 5, calories from 72 to 85, and protein from 138 down to 118). Switched to Animonda since February. She gets half a can of the three varieties (poultry, beef, lamb) alternated with Menus Légers Pure Turkey, plus Purizon Sterilised Chicken/Fish kibble and Cosma Nature. She doesn’t leave a single crumb. No digestive issues, beautiful coat, and in great shape.

Relatively affordable price

I started using senior food. My tomcat is almost 9 years old and sometimes I think he has trouble with solid meat. He likes Animonda and it’s good for my wallet too 🥳

Tasty!

This poultry flavour seems to appeal to my two senior cats. The beef one doesn’t.

Unfortunately too many inedible pieces

I previously bought the "Adult" variety for my two 10-year-old tomcats, but they didn’t really like it. Too often there were hard or rubbery bits in the food that they couldn’t chew. I thought the "Senior" version would pay more attention to the texture, but that’s not the case—it’s no different at all from the "Adult" one. My cats aren’t keen on it and always leave a lot on the plate. I won’t be buying it again.
