Lillebro Sunflower Seeds for Wild Birds

I purchased six bags of these for my garden birds, I love feeding them, love their colours. Very relaxing to watch them I find, I always feed them, They would not eat these for some reason, had to throw out the field,

the lovebirds like them, but I remove a large handful of inedible debris from each bag. one all the wooden stalks etc are removed, that's about 10% of the volume gone as waste

It's definitely worth it for everyone after a year’s break. Already in the summer, I gave the squirrel some leftover sunflower seeds I’d bought last winter. Soon, small birds started showing up too. I REALLY wonder why Finnish people aren’t encouraged to feed birds in towns all year round... Now even the tits are in such good shape that they’ll survive the winter with the food. Earlier in the winter, I saw a blue tit at the feeding spot that was the size of a young person’s thumb, and the whole bird—head, body, and tail—fit in that size.

I use different mixes of bird food for the birds throughout the winter. Last winter, I went through a lot of seed mix. Now even the sunflowers are popular, which previously only the squirrels ate. With their bellies full, the birds are playing in pairs in the yard even as autumn arrives, and sometimes they sing. I usually feed the birds and squirrels all year round – as long as it’s recommended.

Dozens of garden birds and red squirrels come from all around to feast on these sunflower seeds all day long and throughout the year! It's a lovely sight for us and our grandchildren.
