Rocco Green Beef Tripe - dog snacks

My Jug puppy loved these at first and will still happily eat them but they seem to give her bad gas. Smells the same going in as it does coming out - which is very unpleasant! Shame as we are less than halfway through the bag as you do get lots in it.

Have been buying this for a year. Probably bought 3 lots of the 5kg bag. Carried on buying because my dog loved it. I can't break it into smaller pieces because it is so hard and have also found the quality very variable. But she turned her nose up at the last bag and even though she did eventually eat it she was nowhere near as keen as she used to be. I thought maybe we were just unlucky. New bag full of really tiny pieces and quite a lot of dust. Probably the end of this for us.

The snack is way too big. I was expecting something smaller, each piece is hard and difficult to break apart.

My little girl loves it. Okay. But the pieces are so different – from the size of a postage stamp to as big as a woman’s fist (and those aren’t properly dried out!). So I have to painstakingly cut them up with garden shears.

Unfortunately, the pieces are different sizes. Some are very thin.
