An essential for that special four legged friend in your life!
I bought this bed after reading so many positive reviews about it. I bought the larget size as I have a beautiful, 6 and a half year old Kelpie/bearded collie cross, who likes to stretch himself out in rather silly looking postures all the time. He has arthritis in both of his back legs following major surgery 3 years ago. My dog deserves the luxury of this bed. He was interested in the box it came in immediately, which I took to be a good sign. Any small concerns I might have had about him liking the bed melted away in an instant as I had barely got the bed out of it's wrapper when my dog was trying to get into the bed! He dragged it to the middle of the living room and sniffed all the interesting things that come with any new item that comes into our home. He dug at it, spun himself round and round, then lay down, stretching his now rather substantial belly out to his full upside down pose, wagged his tail in thanks and promptly fell asleep! Happy dog, happy owner. Other plus points i'd like to mention are the look of the bed is very stylish and tucks rather neatly beside my bed. More importantly, it is easy for him to climb in and out of. I only wish I had bought it sooner, my dog is so much more comfortable because he is less restless during the night. I feel the firm mattress supports his sore joints. My husband asks if you have them in human sizes, he has bed envy! The only noises I hear from the dog at night now is his gentle snoring and the other smells that come from a special diet for arthritic dogs! The bed also comes with a little sheepskin blanket which my dog likes to dig around and 'bummfle up' until it's as he likes it. Removable covers for washing too, great! One more point, the cat used to sneak in beside my dog, but now he isn't allowed on my dogs new bed at all! He has become rather possessive over his new bed. I wonder why? :o)
