If you want to take your cat outdoors on a lead, their harness needs to be as soft as possible. Cats need freedom of movement and comfort, especially if they do not normally wear a harness. The Trixie XCat XL model is ideally designed for going outside, as it is lightly padded, soft against your cat’s skin and completely adjustable.The harness consists of durable mesh material and the plastic click fastenings make it easy to put on and remove. The velcro fastenings allow you to make small adjustments so that the harness fits your cat perfectly at the neck and around the tummy. Additionally, the harness has a chest band with a click fastening - also completely adjustable – that helps the harness to sit securely in place. This means your cat will hardly feel the soft material and can become accustomed to wearing the harness.
Exclusive to zooplus: Adapt your cat’s harness to your individual style. The harness has velcro strips on the back, to allow you to attach the added decorations. If your cat is an elegant female, you can attach the “Lady” sticker, whereas if he’s a proud tom, you can give him his “Gentleman” logo. The stickers are interchangeable, so if you have more than one cat at home you can add a sticker to suit the wearer.
The product includes a nylon lead that can be attached to the D-ring on the back of the harness. The lead is stretchy so that you can allow your cat a little more freedom if you wish. Safety is just as important as comfort, so the harness has reflective piping on all edges. This makes sure your cat can be easily spotted in the dark, whether on the lead or off.

Cat pushes
Our rather large 7kg (not overweight) Bengal easily slips from the harness when he gets excited. Probably good for most but not exactly a high quality product

Excellent harness for cats
I used this harness on my cat Masie who is a ragdoll and she did not restrain from it at all.It is quite comfortable in the size I got it in and she doesn't mind it at all.Excellent product.

Excellent Quality and tastefully styled
This harness is very useful and worth the price.It fits snuggly on my ragdoll,Maisie.I totally recommend this!She didn't try and pull it off because she seemed to really enjoy it.5 stars!!

Smart Harness
This harness is mesh, and quite light weight. It looks smart on my savannah cat.
He is trained to harness, but not to this vest type. Initially he resisted even putting it on. Once on, he flopped down sideways, as if stricken by a paralysing ray. He recovered only to wriggle out.
He got used to wearing it for short periods. By day four he had become accustomed to the harness, and was comfortable walking with the lead.
Delivered without the unneeded sticker.

Lovely cat harness but check your cat's measurements first!
I ordered this Trixie cat harness for my British Shorthair girl. She is quite a small cat so I thought the size would be a good fit. Sadly, she has a typically thick Shorthair neck so while the body of the harness fitted, it was too small around her neck.
My fault - I should have measured the circumference of her neck first.
It would probably fit a large kitten, an oriental breed or a more wiry, less thick set 'chunky' cat.
The harness is well made, soft and sturdy with thick velcro fastenings and is adjustable. It is very cute in red ! I will be buying the next size up!
